Swiss Federal Bank launches online tax payment service

Mumbai: The Federal Bank has launched its new online tax payment service in partnership with the Central Board of Direct Taxes.

The company said, “Based on the strong first quarter FY23 results, the Federal Bank is partnering with the Central Board of Direct Taxes to help taxpayers make their payments through the e-pay tax facility in the income tax electronic filing portal.

“Anyone can now pay their taxes instantly via any of their payment methods such as Debit/Credit Card, UPI, Online Banking, Cash, NEFT/RTGS etc. NRIs and Domestic Bank Customers, as well as any tax paying citizen in India can generate a tax dispute and make the payment through the branches of the Bank.”

The bank had received government approval for direct tax collection last year and it has been effective since July 1 this year.

This will facilitate the payment of taxes for our customers who can use any of our payment methods, as well as for non-customers who can use the mode at the counter in our branches.
