Suryoday Small Finance Bank suspends banking services at ATMs from October 1
Suryoday Small Finance Bank will end its ATM banking services from October 1, 2021, as it plans to step up its digital banking literacy program. However, ATM and debit card holders of the Maharashtra-based bank will be able to access their cards at ATMs of other banks.
In addition, other services such as PIN code generation, fund transfer, mini statement, balance request, etc. will only be available through online and mobile banking.
According to Reserve Bank of India guidelines issued in November, small financial banks will be allowed to provide basic banking services, accepting deposits and loans from unserved and underserved sections, including small business units, small and marginal farmers, micro and small industries and unorganized sector entities.
