Nagad Launches Meghna Bank Money Addition Service
People can now transfer money to their Nagad accounts directly from their Meghna Bank accounts.
The mobile financial services provider launched the interoperable service to make transactions simple and cost-effective for its customers, Nagad said in a statement today.

The service was recently inaugurated at an event held at the head office of Meghna Bank Limited.
Rahel Ahmed, CEO of Nagad; Saidur Rahman Dipu, Corporate Sales Manager; Sheikh Saud Bin Jahan, Director of Bank and IF; Sohail RK Hussain, Managing Director and CEO of Meghna Bank; Shyamol B Das, Deputy Managing Director and CIO of Meghna Bank; Mr. Nazeem A Choudhury, Head of Retail Banking and SMEs, was present at the event.
“We have created opportunities for our valued customers to add money to the Nagad wallet with many commercial banks in the country,” Nagad CEO Rahel Ahmed said of the deal.
“Since its inception, Nagad has worked tirelessly to provide people with the freedom to transact. Through this agreement, customers will be able to transact more easily.”
Nagad has introduced “Bank to Nagad” money adding service to provide consumers with faster and better service.
In addition, customers will be able to transfer daily from 50 Tk to 50,000 Tk to any Nagad account.
As a result, each user will be able to transfer up to Tk 3 lakh per month to their Nagad wallet.
Some of the banks that are now able to instantly transfer money to Nagad wallet using online banking include Dhaka Bank, Midland Bank, Meghna Bank Limited, Exim Bank, Mutual Trust Bank, First Security Islami Bank , Community Bank, Shahajalal Islami Bank, NRB Bank, Social Islami Bank, Premier Bank, IFIC Bank, Union Bank, NRBC Bank, National Bank, City Bank Limited, Standard Bank Limited, Bangladesh Development Bank Limited, Bengal Commercial Bank Limited, Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank, Padma Bank Limited, Prime Bank Limited and Trust Bank Limited.
