Bankwest adds to the “Bank Less” platform with “Less Lazy Home Loans”

Bankwest has launched the latest iteration of its ‘Bank Less’ platform with a new home lending campaign, ‘Less Lazy Home Loans’ through Union, WPP AUNZ’s bespoke agency for the bank.

The integrated campaign shows how Bankwest’s multiple clearing accounts can help customers reduce the interest they pay on their home loan, following on from its “Less Withholding” daily banking campaign earlier this year.

The TVC created for the campaign features Bankwest’s character, Barney, who uses precise fruit ninja-style moves to create a fruit smoothie. His smoothie-making skills show how easily money can be divided into multiple clearing accounts, ensuring his money is working hard for him.

Bankwest Chief Customer Officer Paul Vivian said: “People don’t always want to think about their banking, but they want to know they’re getting the most out of their bank.

“By providing the tools to seamlessly set up their clearing accounts, our customers can go on with their lives knowing their home loan is active. If they wish, customers can virtually set up their clearing accounts and forget about it, knowing their money is in the right place, working hard for them to reduce interest on home loans.

The campaign was launched in Sydney, Perth and the Western Australia region across TV, BVOD, radio, social media and digital.
